Martin R. Infante is the Founder and President of Self Enhancement for Life Foundation (SELF), a Therapeutic Community (TC) approach for the treatment and rehabilitation of substance abuse and other behavior disorders. He founded SELF in 1992 after completing a TC program. Since then, Martin has devoted his entire life to the development of the TC in the Philippines and Asia.

Augusto Nogueira is the founder member and current President of ARTM (Association of Rehabilitation of Drug Dependencies of Macau). For the last 19 years, he had been consistently working to improve the conditions of the people that use drugs to access the treatment and in the Harm Reduction advocacy.

Phaedon Kaloterakis (BRE, MWS), is the Director of KETHEA ITHAKI, KETHEA being one of the largest drug treatment organizations in Europe. Phaedon has been involved with the addiction field since 1980 and is a much sought after speaker worldwide at international conferences on addiction and has published many articles and scientific papers.

Aloysius Joseph is Director of Peer Services and International Collaboration at Samaritan Daytop Village, New York‐USA. He has trained more than 900 recovery coaches and brings with him more than three decades of experience in the Treatment of Substance Abuse. He has also traveled to more than fifteen countries around the globe to provide training on the Therapeutic Community and Addiction Counseling Model.

Executive Director of We Help Ourselves (WHOS) and working in alcohol and other drug (AOD) nonprofit sector since 1980 and in management roles since 1986. I have been primarily focused on the residential Therapeutic Community (TC) movement and model of treatment for most of my career to date including working with TCs throughout Asia. In 1986 I became involved in harm minimization initiatives as a result of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and became more focused with staying in touch with needs of users past and present.
